About Nico
Nico Paradysz is from Oyster Bay, New York, however he spent the majority of his early music career in New York City, where he took classical piano lessons with Cosmo Buono and Karen Beluso. During his early years, he studied the works of Debussy, Chopin, Beethoven, and Bach, and has performed these works at recitals over the years, even making multiple appearances at Carnegie hall. Throughout highschool, Nico’s musical endeavors began to expand as he began teaching himself how to produce his own music. Through this newfound infatuation with producing, he began experimenting with electronic music and production styles while his unique artistic voice began to emerge. He also played percussion in his highschool concert and jazz band with an incredibly influential teacher for him known as Jeff Suzda.
After being accepted into Berklee College of Music in his senior year, he was able to focus on his music full time, where he began studying jazz piano under his instructor Steve Heck. Shortly after this, it became evident that Nico had a knack for picking up new instruments as he began to learn bass with Mike Visceglia, and guitar with Neal Itzler. While being exposed to all the possible avenues as a musician, Nico quickly found that the music business interested him deeply. Learning about business from the angle of a musician allowed Nico to discover new opportunities he hadn't yet known were possible. This includes creating audio for film & commercials, which he is currently pursuing in addition to performing and collaborating with his peers.
